The CRN deliberately facilitates research collaborations and mentoring relationships. The Feminist Legal Theory CRN fosters a group of scholars with a shared curiosity in gender as it intersects with race, class, sexual orientation, gender identification, incapacity and other statuses/identities. Although many students would benefit from more discussions on feminist points, the fact that feminist theory cuts throughout so many fields hampers conversation. Many of us, notably these newer to the academy, do not know one another or the work that’s being carried out on these issues in different fields.
