The saying is that in law college, you learn to assume like a lawyer. We help students to locate alternatives in private observe, public interest, government, and enterprise; provide career counseling and job search advice; offer help identifying and applying for clerkships and internships; and connect college students with alumni and different potential employers.
The Fred Parks Legislation Library affords college students entry to more than ninety law-related databases; a comprehensive vary of presidency documents; particular collections, including rare books, manuscripts, and archives; and authorized research guides.
A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley School of Legislation, Mr. Denk clerked for Choose Maryanne Trump Barry of the United States Courtroom of Appeals for the Third Circuit and was a visiting assistant professor at Boston School Legislation School.
The Center for Legal Innovation is dedicated to serving to create a future where innovation and entrepreneurial power redefine legal education, the practice of law, and law itself. In alignment with GUC training and analysis strategy, the legislation and authorized research college encourages college students to conduct inter- disciplinary tasks and authorized research.
We’re funded by Authorized Aid Ontario, the Legislation Foundation of Ontario, Fanshawe Scholar’s Council, and Western’s College College students Council and School of Legislation. Church courts applied canon legislation, city and rural courts utilized native customary legislation, Chancery and maritime courts applied Roman regulation.
